On McCaul St. North of Queen | 24" x 18"About the Artwork On McCaul St. North of Queen is a 24" 18" oil on board by John Kasyn (19262008), one of Torontos most significant visual historians. Kasyn preserved working class neighbourhoods before redevelopment reshaped them, working from a Kodachrome slide archive he built while photographing modest residential streets throughout the 1960s80s. This painting depicts two late 19th century brick homes on McCaul Street just north of Queen West.
